    As far ad blending is concerned, this does the job well. However it cannot completely replace a proper mixie. For example, I use this blender to make coconut chutney regularly, but if the coconut has chunks instead of slivers, it takes longer to grind and that too not thoroughly. Also its plastic jars mean that spices and masalas don’t wash off as well as in a steel jar. But I still use it everyday as it’s quite handy and easy to wash and reuse. I keep the small jar for chutneys and spices and the bigger one for juices and blender cakes.
